"Installed these in 25 minutes. First time I hit the brakes hard on the highway I knew it was worth every penny, no more squat. Loaded the bed with 600lbs of gear last weekend and the rear sat completely flat. This is what the truck should have come with from the factory." 2014 Silverado 1500 |

SilveradoHub · Suspension
Stop The Squat.
Take Back Control Of Your Truck.
Your Silverado should not sag, wallow or sway the moment you hitch a trailer or throw gear in the bed. This Rear Rubber Suspension Helper Spring Kit adds progressive support exactly where your factory suspension gives up — keeping the truck level, planted and predictable, loaded or empty.
- OEM GMRCK15S
- 100% New
- Rubber
- 1999-2021 Fitment
- Bolt-On ~30 Min
What This Kit Fixes
Built To Carry, Engineered To Control
A progressive rubber helper spring works with your leaf springs instead of replacing them. Unloaded, you keep your factory ride. Loaded, it engages early and firms up the harder it is pushed — so the truck settles instead of slamming.
Eliminates Rear-End Squat
Stops the back end dropping when you hitch a trailer or load the bed, so your headlights, steering and braking stay where the factory aimed them.
Controls Sway & Body Roll
Keeps the truck flat and composed through corners, crosswinds, passing semis and broken pavement instead of rocking side to side on the leaf packs.
Prevents Sag Under Load
Adds real support for tools, tongue weight, campers, toppers and weekend gear — and protects the leaf springs from bottoming out on every dip.
Maintenance-Free Upgrade
No compressor, no air lines, no leaks, no adjusting before every trip. Bolt it on once and it simply works — every load, every drive, every season.

Features
What You Are Actually Buying
- 1
Verify This Is The Right Part Number Before Ordering
This kit is built to OEM reference GMRCK15S and is designed for the rear suspension of the half-ton Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 only. Match that number against your existing part or your dealer's parts lookup, and confirm your year in the fitment table — two minutes now saves a return later.
- 2
Quality Materials, 100% Tested Before Shipping
Moulded from durable automotive-grade rubber chosen to stay flexible in cold and hold its shape under sustained load, heat and road salt. Every kit is inspected and function tested before it leaves the warehouse — you get a complete, correct, ready-to-install set, not a parts-bin gamble.
- 3
Easy Install And Convenient To Use
A true bolt-on upgrade using the factory mounting locations. No drilling, no cutting, no welding and no suspension disassembly — most owners are done in about 30 minutes with basic hand tools. Once installed there is nothing to inflate, adjust or service.
- 4
Great Quality, Direct Replacement
Dimensioned to drop straight into the factory location, so your suspension geometry, ride height and load path stay as engineered. It replaces worn, cracked or collapsed original stops and restores proper support without re-engineering the truck.

Installation
What Needs To Be Done
Six steps, basic hand tools, roughly half an hour. Nothing on your truck gets modified permanently — the factory parts come straight back out of the box if you ever want them.
| Step | What Needs To Be Done | Tools Needed | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Lift and secure the rear. Park on level ground, chock the front wheels, raise the rear of the truck and support it on jack stands. | Floor jack, jack stands, wheel chocks | 5 min |
| 2 | Remove the factory bump stop. Unbolt the original rubber stop from the frame bracket above the rear axle. Clean the mounting surface. | Ratchet and socket set | 5 min |
| 3 | Position the helper spring. Seat the new unit in the factory location and line up the mounting hole. | By hand | 3 min |
| 4 | Fit the washer and hardware. Slide on the supplied washer, thread the bolt and nut, then tighten evenly until the spring is seated flat and solid. | Ratchet + wrench | 5 min |
| 5 | Repeat on the opposite side. Both helper springs must be installed — running one side only will load the axle unevenly. | Same tools | 10 min |
| 6 | Lower and drive. Remove the stands, lower the truck, and re-check the hardware after roughly 50 miles. | Torque wrench | 2 min |
| Total: a complete bolt-on install — no drilling, no cutting, no welding, no suspension disassembly. | Basic hand tools | ~30 min |
Tip: If your original bump stops are cracked, flattened or missing entirely, that is exactly the wear this kit is meant to replace.

Questions
Before You Order
Will this lift my truck?
No — and that is the point. This is a load-support upgrade, not a lift kit. It holds the rear up when the truck is loaded rather than raising it when it is empty, so your unloaded ride height and geometry stay factory.
Will it make my empty truck ride harsh?
The helper spring is progressive: it stays out of the way through normal suspension travel and firms up as the suspension compresses. Unloaded, you keep your factory ride. Loaded, you get the support your leaf springs are missing.
Do I need to install both sides?
Yes. Both units are supplied in the kit and both must be fitted so the axle is supported evenly. Installing one side only will unbalance the rear.
Does it work with a leveling kit or lowered truck?
It works on trucks running the factory rear leaf-spring setup. If your rear suspension has been converted to air bags or coils, or the bump stop mounting location has been relocated, this kit is not the right part.
How do I know it is the right part number?
Cross-reference GMRCK15S against your existing part or a dealer parts lookup, then confirm your model year in the fitment table above. Both need to match before you order.
Is any maintenance required afterwards?
None. There is nothing to inflate, adjust, lubricate or service. Re-check the mounting hardware after the first 50 miles and that is the last of it.
